Today I used place value to figure out a maths equation.

Tuatahi, I started with the ones. Ono + Ono + Rua = Tekau ma Wha

A tera, I started with the tens. Toru Tekau + Wha Tekua + = Iwa Tekau

I tera, I combined the two answers. Iwa Tekau + Tekau ma Wha = Kotahirau wha, but the story problem said there are Kotahirau rua tekau Pokemon cards in a complete set, but they only have 104. How many more cards to be a complete set.

I struggled a little bit but I remembered that there were two main parts of this stratigie.
