Current Events 2020

Today I did an activity called Current Events. We had to watch a Haka where the Maori NRL team and the Indigenous team do a Haka. Then after we had watched the Haka, we had to write some things down. Here is my Current Event sheet down there.

L.I To remeber basic maths facts

Today I did an activity called prototec. I did stage 2-3 and I got 90% instead of 100%. The reason why I got 90% instead of 100% it's because I got three wrong answers, and my time was 1 minute and 52 seconds.

Fact Find Jeffrey Hardy

Today I did an activity called Fact find. I did a famous person and that famous person was Jeffery Hardy. Jeffery Hardy is a professinal pro wrestler. He has 2 daughters and his wife's name is Beth Britt. On smackdown 2019 Matt Hardy and Jeffrey Hardy won the WWE tag team championship belt and on Raw Matt Hardy and Jeffrey Hardy won the WWE tag team championship belt again but Raw. L.I To remeber basic maths facts

Today I did an activity called basic facts boxes. I did my addition and subtraction speed up demon to 5. I got no answers wrong and my time was 8 minutes and 8 seconds.

Today I did an activity well not an activity but I did an activity called Comment Thread. It is about a person from our school commenting on someone's blog post. I commented on Rosalili's blog post. and the blog post I commented on was her SSR Selfie. Here is my comment down here.

SSR Selfie

Today I did an activity called SSR Selfie. We haed to read silenly for 15 minutes and after that we had to write down some bits of information from our book. My book was called Carla's snadwich. It was about Carla making her own sandwich with differet foods in it. Everyone thinks her sandwiches were revolting. But the next day when they were having a picnic a boy named Buster was being mean about Carla's sandwich but then he relised that he forgot his sandwich. Then Carla said do you want my sandwich buster. Then buster thought it was still revolting. But then he saw everyone eat thier lunch. Buster got hungry then he asked Carla for her sandwich. He everyone was shocked that he ate the sandwich. But when he tasted it, it was amazing. Then everyone wated to taste her sandwich. So Carla took her piece of sandwich and broke then into tiny bits for everyone. They said it was amazing. Then Carla was happy to have friends.

Descriptive Writing

Today I did an activity called Descriptive Writing. We had to describe an image using similies, metaphors, and idioms. I commented on a very old castle and I think it was built in the 1900's or the 1800's or the 1700's.

Today I did an activity called Fact Find. I did a famous person and that famous person is Donnie Yen. He is a Hong Kong actor and a Martial Artist. He has 3 children, and has been in atleast 62 movies. If you want more infomation have a look at this google slide I made.

CSI Quick Write

Today I did an activity called CSI quick write. We had to write a narrative story with paragraphs in it. My story was called Hotel Transylvania. The story is kind of the movie called transylvania but I changed it. I wrote 3 whole paragraphs in my story. Sometimes my old teacher in australia said that all of my stories I wrote was amazing and I got heaps of writing rewards. If you want to read my story it is at the bottom down here.

Number bonds to ten

Today I did a maths activity called number bonds to ten. We had to draw and tens frame and put some small objects inside but it has to be ten. Then we had to make a google slide and use our tens frame. We also had to use our camrea to take photos with our tens frame and objects. I didn't have counters, stones, or small objects so instead I ripped out ten small pieces from a piece of paper.

SSR Selfie

Today I did SSR Selfie on Storyline Online. The book was called The kiss that missed. It was about a kiss going missing and then the loyal knight went to go and find it in the woods. The knight got scared because he went into the woods and there was lots of wild creatures. The wild creatures went to sleep and the loyal knight went to on a wrinkly branch but the wrinkly branch made a big bump. And the bump was coming from a big and giant dragon. Then the kiss came floating and it flew at the dragon's nose. Then he sneezed. Then the kiss came out of the nose and the loyal knight caught it. Then they all made it safe back to the castle. That night the prince was happy. I didn't have a book from home so I decided to go on Storyline Online.

Today I commented on Xavier's blog. The blog I commented on was his basic facts boxes. I told him that I liked his basic facts boxes. Then I asked him a question, Do you like basic facts?I hope he answers back.

This week for Maths I did Prototech. If you don't know what prototech is I will show you. Prototech is kind of a maths game where you can practise your maths. When your done with your sheet you get it marked, and you get an a certificate. The stage I went was 2-3. My time was 1 minute and 35 seconeds and I only got 1 answer wrong.

SSR Selfie

Today I did SSR Selfie on Storyline Online. The book was called Library Lion. It was about this Lion going to the library and the lion broke a rule. The lion got sad and did not come back to the library. but then when he came back all the children got so exited and hugged him. I didn't have a book from home so I decided to go on Storyline Online.
