Reciprocal Reading

We used reciprocal reading to read a text called "The Maori Pioneer Battalion."

First, there was a leader. A leader is the one who assigns the roles during reciprocal reading.

Next, there was a predictor. A predictor is the one who takes an educational guess one what the topic is about. 

Then, there was a clarifier. A clarifier is the one who asks someone what a word is.

After, there was a questioner. A questioner is the one who asks questions about the text.

Last, there was a summariser. A summariser is the one who evalutes all the information they have read.

I enjoyed this task because we had to swap roles and figure out what the main topic was about.
