First, we watched a video that explained the hook of a introduction and what a introduction is. Then we did a hook about Mr Oglivie.
Next, we wrote an introduction and a hook about three different topics. Did you know that the largest firework ever was displayed in the Thunder Over Louisville? Fireworks use gunpowder, metal salt and strontium carbonate (red fireworks). When it mixes together it makes a loud bang.
Then, we wrote an introduction and a hook about a life cycle of a butterfly. Did you know that female butterflies lay their eggs under a lear or plant? The life cycle of a butterfly takes 28 days to 32 days. Butterflies have four stages of life. They are: eggs, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly.
Lastly, we wrote an introduction and a hook about how chocolate are made. Did you know that it takes 400 cocoa beans to make one pound of chocolate? There are 4 mechanisms on how chocolate are made. They are cocoa beans, cocoa butter, sugar, milk powder or alternative milk. The process can take up to eight days, depending on the species of the cacoa bean.
Next time, I should work on my hook and introductions to add more information.
