Comment Threading | SLJ | #11

Today Charlotte, from the SLJ team, commented on my blog post about sundial from Nanogril's Lab.

It’s Charlotte here, a commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. You have done some amazing work on the ‘Nanogirl Sundial’ task!

I think that it is pretty amazing how we can make something like a sundial out of things like cardboard! What did you think of this task? I really like the Nanogirl tasks because I think Science is so fascinating!

I liked how this activity had a lot to do with the outdoors! I think that spending time in the outdoors is so much fun! I like to go swimming at the beach and also enjoy going on walks outside! What do you like to do outside?

This sundial task was amazing. I didn't know what a sundial was until I watched Nanogirl's activity yesterday and I think Science is so fascinating too because of all of the experiments that you can do.

I like swimming in pools rather than swim at the beach because there are no showers there and the pool is yuck, green, salty, and cold. So thats why I would rather swim at pools instead of beaches. Like Shakespear beach, the water was salty and there was mushed up sand that smelt like rotten eggs.

I like to go on adventures outside because you can go through forests and in the forests there are native animals or insects or creatures that you could have a look at. Just like Bear Grylls, he is a trained professional at going to dangerous adventures.

When I grow up, I wanna be like Bear Grylls and experince all native animals or insects or creatures, but you need to take lots and lots of trainging before you do the real stuff.

What did you wanna be when you grew up and why?
