People's Names

Our task was to carry on a task about people's names.

First I was to translate the Maori Names. I was not allowed to use the Maori Dictionary so I had a go. Whea Odie told us that J is H, D is T, D and L is R, and V is W. For example if it was Hune that means it was June because there is no J in the Maori Language.

Afterwards I went on the floor with Whea Odie to play a game called memorize. Memorize is a game where I had to memorize the Maori words and when Whea Odie says the Maori Word in english I answer the Maori Word back.

I enjoyed this task because I translated people's names in english for three weeks.
