Tenses

There are 12 different types of tenses.

Present Simple: Tells about the general present.

Past Simple: Tells about an a event that includes a finished action and time.

Future Simple: Tells about something that will happen in the future.

Present Continuous: Tells about something that is happening at the time of speaking.

Future Continuous: Tells about something that will be happening at sometime in the future.

Present Perfect: Tells about an event that started in the past and finished now (at the time of speaking)

Future Perfect: Tells about an event that will be completed in the future.

Past Perfect Continuous: Tells about an event that has happened until now.

Past Continuous: Tells about something continuously happening in the past.

Present Perfect Continuous: Tells abount an event starting before a point in the past which continued until that time in the past.

Past Perfect: Tells about an event that started in the past and went continuouly until another point in the past.

Future Perfect Continuous: Tells about an event that will have happened in the future when something else happens.

There are three different types of tenses and they are past, preasent, and future.
