Comment Thread

I completed a task called Comment Thread. A comment thread is having a conversation with someone else by commenting with positivie feedback and talking about the learning.

One of my classmates in my school commented on my blog post called Maui and The Sun. During a comment thread, you need to have a greeting, a compliment, and a question to ask.

Here is an example for comment thread.

Fortnite Dance Moves

I did a Tuesday Workout session. This time, I did it differently. I had to do some Fortnite Dances and it was kind of fun.

First, I skipped a couple of dance moves because they were kind of hard.

Lastly, I did a couple of basic fortnite dance moves. The dance moves were fresh, the floss, robot, the zombie dance, and a couple of other.

I enjoyed doing thisn activity because it made me feel like emoting on a noob in fortnite.

Maori Tales | Maui and The Sun

I searched for a fairy tale about Maui and The Sun on youtube.

First, the video told us what maui did for his plan. The main charcters were Maui, The Sun, and Maui's Brothers.

Back in the days, it used to be the sun, Te Ra, who travelled across the sky. The days were short and the nights were long. During the time, Maui and his brothers went to go and hunt fish, cultive plantations, or even to make war. Maui wanted to capture the sun, so maui made a plating flax fibers into ropes to capture the sun. When they captured the sun, they weakened it so that it could swiftly travel across the sky slowly. Thanks to Maui, people could do lots of things in the time of day.

I enjoyed watching this mythological story because it represents the Maori Culture. Video

Division | Basic Facts Boxes

I completed the speed up demon challenge for division.

I got 14/90 and my time was 4 minutes. My time was 4 minutes because I was done agonising over the answers. So I put random numbers.

Next time, I need to practice my division.

Tonight's Snack

I created a little snack with my aunty. The recipe is very simple.

First, gather your ingreedients. Marshmallow Fluff, Hershey Sauce, and Arnott's Biscuits. Also one utensil, a lighter.

Next, spread the Marshmallow Fluff onto the Arnott's Biscuits.

Then, use the ligther to melt the Marshmallow Fluff.

After, put some Hershey Sauce on top of the Marshmallow Fluff.

Lastly, enjoy the treat.

I enjoyed doing this experiment because now, I can make it whenever I want. Also, I didn't enjoy mine because it fell to the ground.

Halloween Story Problems

I created a Halloween Story Problem Slide deck for maths. 

First, I copied and pasted my Distance Problem Solving layout and put it on the google slide deck.

Next, I thought of some story problems linked with Halloween because Halloween is my second most favourite holiday of the year.

Lastly, I put the slides in place and it was ready. 

I enjoyed making this activity because people can practise their maths skills by using problem solving equations.

Halloween Video

I created a short movie about Halloween.

First, I created my storyboard and I looked at my other storyboard just to get a basic idea.

Next, I edited each slides and did the font, add the images, and colour code them.

Lastly, I did credits and gathered all the information onto a video website called WeVideo.

I enjoyed this activity because I created a spooky video about my favourite holiday of the year.
