Ancient Egyptians wrote numbers as pictures. The Ancient Egyptions wrote the following:

• a short rope for the ones
• a long rope for the tens
• a coil for the hundreds
• a flower for the thousnads
• a finger  for the ten thousands
• a frog for the hundreds thousands
• a person praying to thier god for the million

 For example: 2020 is written with 2 flowers and 2 long ropes.

Art

Today we did art. We had to use tape and crayons.

First we had to get a piece of paper and put some tape around the boarder. Next we had to get some strips of tape and section off the parts that we don't need. Lastly we had to color in the shapes in one direction. When we pulled off the tape the edges were sharp.

My art was pretty cool. I liked my art and I think it was interesting.

Nouns, Pronouns, Proper nouns

A noun is a word given to an object. A proper noun is a word given to a unique object. A pronoun is the general word that is given to a object.

When you are writing a noun or a pronoun it has to be a lowercase letter at the start. Proper nouns have capital letters because it's a person's name or a media or a place. Nouns and pronouns have lowercase letters because it is only one thing.

Direct Speech And Reported Speech

For this weeks task we had to do a direct speech and reported speech. A reported speech is telling what someone else has said and a direct speech is exactly what a person has said.

 First we had to guess which sentence was a direct speech and a reported speech. Secondly we had to put the sentences in the right box. Thirdly we show the teacher if we are finished. And finaly we put it on our blogger.
