Today I finished a slide show about  Finding Nemo Films Study 2019 it was fun watching the real movie and my favourite part was when Nemo was brave and tried to get out.

1. Attach the balloon to the bottle top.
2. Blow up the balloon through the middle of the C.D.
3. Close the bottle top,keeping the balloon inflated.
4. Place it on a hard,flat surface eg table top or wooden floor.

Activity 1 - New Zealand Royalty (Summer learning journey Teaser week)

This week is the Manaiakalani SLJ Teaser week. Today, Nyjah and I has created a collaborative info graphic google draw about Lorde for our practice summer learning journey activities. This will help us keep motivated until the actual program begins. Although, I was really surprised to find out that Taylor Swift was her best friend and she got offered a record deal at the age of 13.

Today in class we did pie charts. First we had to put tally marks on the board. 4 people voted for red, 6 people voted for blue, 2 people voted for green, 1 person voted for yellow, and 7 people voted for purple. Next we had to answer questions about pie charts. Then we had to go on google sheets and make our pie charts about favorite colours.

Read the poem

Identify the two metaphors in the poem-Marshmallow boats-refers to marshmallow floating in the hot chocolate. 

Identify the simile- like a silver typhoon refers to a spoon.

Write down the pairs of rhyming words- Wobble and bobble. Spoon and typhoon. Sink, pink and drink.

Read theory September

I think that I improved my reading skills on read theory because I am getting better and better at my reading skills. Every time my grades gets harder and harder and I try my best.and this is my scoreboard on read theory. Sometimes I get 100% on read theory,and sometimes I get 50%.

5-7-10 battle

There is a battle in the galaxy and there are space ships, Stormtroopers and everything is out of control. I think Darth Vader wants something from Captain Luke Skywalker. While R2D2 was helping BB8 to turn off Dath Vader’s power. Darth Vader turned around and started choking R2D2 and BB8 then they both almost died. 

Then Luke Skywalker came to save BB8 and R2D2. The Jedis killed all the Stormtroopers, but there were 2 people left and there names were Kylo Ren, and there was a different Stormtrooper and his name was the Black Skywalker. Luke Skywalker defeated Darth Vader, but the Jedis were in trouble from Kylo Ren saw Luke Skywalker and he ran away. Then it was only Black Skywalker left. Luke Skywalker killed the Black Skywalker by using the force on his neck for a very long time. After that the Jedis had a celebration because they defeated all the Stormtroopers.

Math monster

Today me and my class did Math monster.Every time when I go home I practice my time tables .And when I come to school and do time tables I forget all the time,but I try my best to learn my times tables.

Today I did my word cline challenge and it was afraid.I had trouble finding the words that mean afraid, so I asked a friend and they helped me only for a little bit.After that I found some words that mean afraid and it was Anxious,Nervous,Scared,and Horrified.

Swimming recount

“Wow every Thursday, my class and I were going to the Lagoon Pools.First we had to go on the bus and it takes like five minutes to get there.

When I went to the little pools I had so much fun because we had to race each other.When everyone went to the edge of the pool  they started screaming I was first!

Then for the next activity we had to learn how to use a board by making it to the edge of the pool. 

I learnt how to swim on a board to the edge of the pool because I tried my best to swim on a board.Then the swimming teacher gave us a little toy to chuck underwater and grab it.

So me and my partner had to throw a little toy underwater and had to grab it from underwater.The swimming teacher said let’s play another game called dolphin's the ocean.Dolphin’s in the ocean is a game where we had to make a circle and there is two dolphin’s in the middle of the circle and they had to try and escape the circle in just ten seconds.

If they don’t escape the circle in just ten seconds they are out.
